Leon B. Strout Photographs and Papers
The Leon B. Strout photograph collection consists of over 5,000 film and glass plate negatives and 1,102 black and white prints, dating from 1890 to 1936. Leon B. Strout (1869-1937) was a photographer who documented life and environs primarily in mid-coastal Maine. Common subjects throughout the collection include Bowdoin College, the Poland Spring Resort, and negatives from his work in France post-World War I.
